Porsche Confirms 911 Targa Detroit Debut: Watch the Live Stream Here

Now that the Lamborghini Huracan’s painful teasing is over, it’s time for Porsche to play the “killing me softly” tune with its 911 Targa. After episodes such as spy photos, leaked patent images and Porsche’s almost-tease, now Stuttgart has finally confirmed that the 2014 Detroit Motor Show will bring us the 991-generation 911 Targa.

As you can imagine, the details offered are shier than a design change on the 911. Here’s Porsche message for us: “Echoing the design of the original 911 Targa of 1965, the new model features the distinctive Targa bar, a movable center roof section and a wrap-around rear window combined with innovative technical solutions that make it a true modern classic.”

Porsche knows all too well that everybody wants to see the roof ballet of the car, so it is preparing us for the magical moment - Detroit, January 13, 11.45 CET. You can watch the Porsche 911 Targa unveiling live stream here. By the way, the pic above is an allegedly leaked image.
