The new Honda Civic hatch for the European market was unexpectedly big in Frankfurt last week, so big in fact that the Japanese manufacturer has stated it expects sales to double, thanks to the advanced model, which is technically two generations ahead of the previous one.
However, the biggest Frankfurt debut in the sportscar world was the 2012 Porsche 911. We expect the car to set new standards in handling, performance and even economy, but Stutgart says we can add another record: sales.

According to Automotive News, the German company expects annual sales to reach the mighty figure of 40,000 units a year for the extent of the model’s shelf life. If this figure is achieved after the new 011 goes on sale in December, it will mean that sales have doubled from 2010’s result.
