German tuning specialists at speedART have just released details and photos of their latest project, based on a Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid, dubbed speedHYBRID. The team made various changes both in terms of design as well as engine performance, enhancing the vehicle’s looks and aerodynamics.

First off, the V6 unit powering the speedHYBRID has been tweaked to output 450 horsepower and 570 Nm, which means they added some extra 70 horsepower. The tuners, however, left the electric mode unchanged, as they did with the function of the Sport- and the E-Power-Button.

This power boost allows the speedART Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid to hit  62 mph (100 Km/h) from a standstill in 6.0 seconds instead of 6.5 seconds, while the maximum speed increased with 6 mph (10 km/h) more than the standard version, now being rated at 156 mph (252 km/h).

Other enhancements featured by the speedART Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid include a switch controlled sport exhaust system with 2x100 mm exhaust pipes and an electronic lowering module for model equipped with air suspension.

Creating the visual and physical connection to the road are the 22 inch lightweight forged wheels, with the painting of the centre star left to the customer’s choice. Due to the special forging technology, the weight of the LSC-wheels is on the same level as the weight of a cast 21-inch wheels, so that there is no higher consumption caused by the bigger wheels.

Inside, the car gets a special turbo pressure gauge mounted on the dashboard, used in combination with a blue instrumental dial, which replaces also the grey instrumental dial of the centre rev counter from the original tachometer.
