The tuners at Lumma Design have just introduced their latest project, involving a 2011 Porsche Cayenne Diesel, which includes modifications brought both in terms of design and performance. Aside from the headlight covers and a new exhaust system, massive new alloy wheels available in 22 and 23 inch sizes are among the highlights of the package.

However, the most important new feature is the D-box plug-and-play remap solution that increases stock output by 36 horsepower and 80 Nm of torque. This means the power unit on the Cayenne Diesel now develops 276 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque.

This increased torque allows noticeable savings in fuel consumption to be made because it is precisely at low engine speeds that greater efficiency can be achieved. According to Lumma Design, the D-Box can be completely retrofitted if required.

Inside, the matt aluminium door sill panels on the Porsche Cayenne Diesel feature the machined LUMMA logo, while the boot sill protector prevents unattractive scratches.

“The set of four Lumma car floor mats for the interior are also edged with genuine animal skin. The mats’ black finish incorporating the crest logo helps keep the vehicle clean and gives the interior a personal touch. Alternatively, the mats are available with a nubuck edging,” a company statement reads.

Furthermore, the pedal covers are said to combine style with safety. While the machined aluminium highlights the pedals’ sporty nature, the built-in rubber nubs ensure that the driver’s feet don’t slip off the pedals. The foot rests are also made from the same combination of materials .

“Lumma Design will of course supply all these accessories with a TÜV certificate to enable the vehicle owner to easily include the parts with the rest of the car’s documentation. The parts can be fitted at any specialised service centre or at Lumma Design’s headquarters in Winterlingen,”
the statement concludes.
