Is there any way Porsche could improve the look of the Cayenne Coupe to make it look more like a coupe?
There is, if you ask Instagram car designer kelsonik, because the only thing the German car manufacturer has to do is to just chop off the two rear doors to contribute to overall more coupe-ish styling.

And a rendering that he published on the social network a few hours ago imagines the whole thing happening, envisioning what the Porsche Cayenne Coupe would look like with just two doors instead of four.

Certainly, this idea does contribute to the special look of the Cayenne, although it goes without saying that building this body style involves much more work than simply getting rid of the two doors in the back.

And Porsche has put a lot of work into making the Porsche Cayenne Coupe look like a coupe without actually suffering from all the drawbacks caused by a 2-door body style.

The carmaker says this styling makes the Cayenne more athletic, and at some level, it truly does.

And to further enhance this styling, Porsche turned to an adaptive roof spoiler that is available on the Cayenne Turbo and which provides active aerodynamics for a sportier stance. The spoiler can extend by as much as 135mm at over 90 km/h (56 mph), thus improving downforce and helping to keep the car glued to the ground.

As for the coupe feeling inside, Porsche tried to avoid any impact on the passengers in the back, so the four-door Cayenne Coupe comes with a rear bench that can be used as two individual seats. That’s true, the rear passengers sit some 30mm lower than in the standard Cayenne, but what this does is actually improve the headroom, something that has been impacted by the new roof life needed for the look on the new model.
