Porsche 997 V-RT Edition Turbo by Vorsteiner

Californian tuning company Vorsteiner Race Technologies has just rolled out a brand new bodykit for the 997 Porsche 911 Turbo. Included in the same V-GT range similar to other Porsche 911 aftermarket packages, the new upgrade is especially aimed at improving the appearance of the car, with no improvements particularly addressed to the engine.

However, thanks to the big number of upgrades, the overall performances may be improved as well, though there are no official figures at this point. Nevertheless, the bodykit was especially designed to improve the aerodynamics of the 911 Turbo, so slightly better performances would pretty much make sense.

As you can see for yourself in the adjacent photos, the Porsche 997 V-RT Edition Turbo by Vorsteiner features a carbon-fiber front bumper with larger air intakes compared to the standard model of the car. A center radiator vent also improves the cooling, while a new carbon-fiber front spoiler enhances the downforce.

The tuner also installed a brand new rear bumper while larger intercooler vents said to provide up to 35 percent better air flow underneath the car body. Besides this, the rear bumper also includes a carbon-fiber rear diffuser plus four sport exhaust tips.

As mentioned, there's no performance upgrade for the 911 Turbo but the large array of carbon-fiber elements surely contribute to the overall weight reduction, thus improving the final performance figures of the model.

There are no price details available for the time being but the whole aftermarket package will probably cost several grands, including installation. The bodykit is expected to become globally available to consumers on March 23.
