The all-new Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar will be showcased at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show later this month, the German automaker announced today.
The company’s latest high-performance vehicle will be displayed alongside other Porsche models, including the new 911 Turbo and the “50 Years 911” special edition.
As a reminder, the Porsche 918 Spyder plug-in hybrid is motivated by 887 horsepower delivered by a V8 engine and electric motor combo that enables the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour (100 km/h) in only 2.8 seconds, while average fuel efficiency is rated between 94 and 85 miles per gallon.
The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show opens its doors on September 10. The Porsche 918 Spyder was also showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance earlier this year.
