Porsche 918 Spyder Gets Rauh-Welt Begriff Body Kit in Extremely Wild Rendering

Rauh-Welt Begriff body kits have been literally making Porsche more badass machines for quite a while now, but we have yet to see one of these JDM delights applied onto something, we dare say it, superior to a 911.

That thirst has just been quenched, as the image above shows a 918 Spyder that has gone down the RWB road. Sure, this is but a rendering. But you didn’t really expect one of the 918 owners of the hybrid hypercar to actually allow Nakai-San to cut into the fenders of his machine, did you?

Now that we’ve mentioned the massive add-ons, from the fat fenders to that front skirt, we’ll note the lack of a rear wing. Most RWB kits include a wing the size of Japan. Since the 918 packs an intelligent, active rear wing, this part has been left untouched, for those all-important virtual aerodynamics.

We must also talk about the livery

Zuffenhausen aficionados don’t need the “Brumos Porsche” branding on the nose of this 918 to tell the color scheme belongs to the Jacksonville, Florida-based racing team. The livery is inspired from Brumos’ 935 racecars.

This is also an occasion to remind you that the team, which came to life back in 1971 and was sponsored by the 1959-authorized Brumos Porsche dealership, is now out of the motorsport scheme. To the best of our knowledge, Brumos cars have been off the track for two years now.

Returning to the rendering we have here, this comes from 22-year-old Khyzyl Saleem. This is part of the artist’s lunch break collection, as he explains projects such as this one occupy just such an amount of time in his life. When he’s not busy turning fantasies into reality on his own, Khyzyl does something similar working for Electronic Arts.

In fact, you can check out a quick Photoshop tutorial based on such a lunch project here.
