Porsche 911 Turbo S Drag Races Audi RS7, The Struggle Is Real

The Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Audi RS7 might have extremely different ways of delivering their velocity kicks, but none of the aspects that set to two slabs of Germany apart matter when they line up next to each other for a drag race.

In fact, a velocity battle between a 991.1-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S and an Audi RS7 is precisely what brought us here.

The beasts got together during a velocity event held in Germany, but, despite some lights being present at the starting line, the drivers still had to rely on a human Christmas Tree to get off the line.

It's no secret that the numbers favor the lighter Zuffenhausen machine, despite the Audi packing the same output (think: 560 vs 560 hp, while both toys come with 750 Nm of twist).

However, the quarter-mile numbers of thiese Volkswagen Group jewes aren't that far from each other. To be more precise, the Porsche 911 Turbo S can play the 1,320 feet game in 10.6 seconds, while the RS7 needs a little over 11 seconds for the job.

Of course, those numbers are the best ever recorded in magazine testing. As for what happens in the real world, we'll let the piece of footage at the bottom of the page tell the story - while the clip doesn't involve numbers, you'll be able to tell the winner.

Now, if you happen to be in a hurry, you should know that the said battle awaits you at the 2:00 point of the clip below. However, the rest of the video isn't exactly skip-over material, since the clip is packed with drag racing action from the same event.

Speaking of which, the adventures we have here should serve as an example. So when that right foot starts craving the throttle, make sure to stay off the streets and go for a controlled environment.
