Porsche 911 Shows Motionless Driving

Porsche is looking for new ways to promote the fresh 991 generation of the 911 and the latest example of this comes from Padova, Italy, where an example of the car was used as a projection screen.

The stunt was pulled out as part of a presentation held by Porsche Center Pradova, with the company introducing the notion of motionless driving. “The new 911 is a car that even stirs up emotions from a standstill. Porsche Centre Padova recently demonstrated this at an event,” Porsche tells us.

Using projection mapping on a car isn’t a new idea. A similar project was shown last year, with a Lamborghini Reventon serving as a canvas for the feat. However, Porsche seems to have taken the concept further. You can watch both the Porsche and the Lamborghini clips below.
