Porsche 911 Racecar Driver Won't Let 350Z Pass, Karting-Style Crashing Ensues

Racecars have more power than implied by their specs alone. For instance, they have to power to reveal the best or the worst in the human inside them. And we're here to show you a recent example of the latter, one that involves a Porsche-Nissan track battle turned contact sport.

The action takes place on the Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec, Canada, where a local racer in a Nissan 350Z does his best to pass drivers in spicier track machines.

The Nissan makes its way up through the other racers, but a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup proves to be a real bottleneck. That's because the driver of the factory racecar simply wouldn't let the Z pass him.

Well, as we once again noticed during our S550 Ford Mustang track test last year, the track has an almost magical power to even out performance gaps between cars, with racing lines and driving style being the most important aspect.

Thus, the guy behind the wheel of the Z managed to squeeze his way past the GT3 Cup. Alas, the Porsche driver decided to turn the whole thing into a karting-like adventure, where crashes are part of the racing.

The man in the 350Z wouldn't let himself intimidated, with his retaliation being solid. And after a series of intimate moments between the two cars, the 911 ended up being left behind.

The Nissan went on to pass a Camaro and a Ferrari that used to be in front of the Porsche, but since the Neunelfer driver had been so aggressive, risking causing a serious crash, Redditors who came across the footage of the adventure couldn't leave things that way.

Apparently, it didn't take too much digging to come across the identity of the Porsche driver. It appears we're talking about a McDonald's franchise owner whose track activity includes high-tier racing. And Redditors may just have a point - given the hefty amounts of money invested by such drivers, it's not too likely to see the 911 guy getting more than a temporary ban for his dangerous driving if he receives any penalty at all.

Regardless, you'll find a second video at the bottom of the page, which shows the 911 guy talking about his motorsport adventures.
