Porsche 911 GT3 RS PDK Wrap Shows Jamaican Flag Colors, a Coincidence?

We've rarely seen a tuning craze such as the one connected to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. However, most owners choose not to play with the warranty or make customization decisions that can affect the car's collectible aura, opting instead for easily reversible wraps.

We've shown you more than a few second skin versions for this Rennsport Neunelfer, but we're not really sure about the significance of the one we have here.

This GT3 RS was spotted at a track day that took place last year at Italy's Monza, one of the greatest racetracks in the world. And while we only have two images of the car, it's not difficult to notice how the color scheme changes the appearance of the rear-engined downforce machine (helmet tip to Euroimport Pneumatici for the pics).

Returning to the wrap, we see the colors of the Jamaican flag being used here. This wouldn't be anything new, as the... open-minded attitude associated with such a visual stunt have determined more than one go-fast machine owner to randomly go for such a color scheme.

Nevertheless, Yellow is missing from the wheels, which mix Black centers with Green lips - notice the car skipped the standard Yellow hue for the ceramic brake calipers, going for Red, which most people associate with the 911 Turbo.

Then again, these could very well be the colors of the owner's favorite sports team, or simply a design that came to mind. One thing's for sure, though: the wide stance of the GT3 RS, or its massive rear wing, weren't enough for this owner. Oh no. The man wanted to ensure nobody mistakes his track-savvy Zuffenhausen machine for a "regular" 911, so he felt the need to add RS mentions all over the car.

Even so, you shouldn't make the mistake of labeling this as the most extreme color transformation seen on a GT3 RS PDK. So far, that title sits with the car that received a complete respray, along with subwoofers in the back.
