We've written about Porsche's 911 GT3 RS on so many occasions that it all risks to make this Neunelfer seem less otherworldly than it is. And this is why we've decided it's time for a new Rennsport 911 story.
However, on this occasion, we're not bringing you a GT3 RS that does something others of its kind would see as amazing. Oh no. This time around, we're giving you the GT3 RS doing its job, which means lapping a track at the kind of pace that's hard to imagine, even for many go-fast vehicle drivers.

This GT3 RS might be as normal as they get (it's even dressed in the car's Lava Orange launch color), but it certainly does a brilliant job when it comes to getting round Spa-Francorchamps at an amazing pace.

The Belgian circuit is included in the Formula One calendar for good reason, so it allows the Zuffenhausen machine to fully stretch its mechanical legs.

Then there's the soundtrack - the 4.0-liter flat-six at the back of the GT3 RS offers one of the best playlists you can have while inside a car, as you'll notice in the video.

We're glad to see one of these limited-production 911s (Porsche only brings 2,000 cars per year) being used just as its maker intended. And while that idea might seem obvious, we're reminding you there are plenty of GT3 RS units out there that are treated like garage queens, many of which get into such situations simply because they had been acquired by speculators.

Sure, the machine might be sold out for 2016, but there's no possible way for a GT3 RS offered for $375,000 to sound reasonable. And no, that isn't the most expensive one you can find nowadays.

P.S.: If you happen to have missed our previous GT3 RS stories, here's an eye-catching example.
