One of the best possible jokes in the Porshe realm involves a guy walking into a showroom and aiming to by a 911 GT3 RS for its MSRP.

First of all, the black hole that is the Porsche optional extra list will convince just about anybody to indulge in pay-for pleasures. Heck, many owners who have climbed the Neunelfer ladder all the way to the Rennsport label won't be shy when it comes to turning to Porsche Exclusive for the really special options that go beyond the reasonable stuff such as the nose lift system.

Secondly, when we're talking about a limited production model such as the one we have here, you can't expect the financial side to remain reasonable - keep in mind that Porsche's GT division only builds about 2,500 of these track machines per year and the 991.1 GT3 RS PDK is d-e-a-d dead for the 2017 model year.

Bring the two said arguments together and we end up with what might seem like financial abominations when compared to the $175,900 starting price of the circuit-savvy Zuffenhausen machine.

In fact, if you're aiming for a Porsche Exclusive model, be prepared to pay as much as $375,000 or even more for it.

However, we're not here to ruin your RS day. Quite the opposite, really. We want to show you not all used GT3 RS PDKs are offered by ruthless speculators, albeit while keeping in mind that, for instance, special colors are off the chart when it comes to prices that won't give you a shock.

Case in point with the White 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS we have here, which is offered for $244,000 - OK, the thing also packs an accent stipe, so it's not the configurator's plain White model.

As expected, the list of extras is not that rich, but you do get the said life system, as well as the track-friendly Sport Chrono Package and a few other goodies.

Fortunately, though, the mileage is still sweet, with the odo showing a mere 1,634 miles.

For those who are browsing this page for reasons that go past "entertainment", we'll mention this Porscha is currently for sale at Foreign Cars Italia, in Greensboro, NC.

P.S.: If the GT3 RS we have here seems like an odd definition of "bargain", you should check out the 2014 LaFerrari we recently showed you.
