In Porsche 911 GT3 RS time, it's been a while since we last showed you an otherworldly Rennsport Neunelfer wrap, but the piece we have here should make up for all the waiting.
This GT3 RS PDK has been given an Apple Computer makeover, thus reminding us of the Porsche 935 K3 racecar Apple sponsored back in the 80s. As a reminder, we're talking about an 800 hp Le Mans animal that could easily make the GT3 RS we have here look tame.
Returning to the 991, we'll mention the design of the wrap mixes the Apple Computer take with a beater approach, as if the car had spent years on the racetrack. The styling comes from digital artist Skepple, whose work we've featured before. The level of details on this wrap is simply amazing and you can spend quite some time immersed in the visual experience.
As those of you following our wrap stories know, the mix involving a racing livery and a motorsport patina take seems to be the latest trend these days.
Interestingly, while the car left the factory dressed in Viper Green, which is already one of the wildest Porsche shades out there, its owner seemes to have enjoyed giving his rear-engined coupe a fresh appearance.
In fact, we've added some photos coming from the man's Instagram below, so you can see all the visual stages the track-savvy machine has been through so far.
Notice that, just like the Porsche Exclusive (the carmaker's individualization arm) specialists recommend, the driver of this GT3 RS also likes to match the... livery of the key fob with that of the car.
Then again, when your car has the ignition switch on the "wrong" side of the steering wheel, it's impossible to overlook the endurance racing heritage that led to this feature, so we can easily understand the guy's taste in colors.
