The 911 R is the hottest Porsche of the moment. It's got the engine from the GT3 RS matched with a manual gearbox and the spirit of a warrior. But what's wrong with the original?
Certainly not the fact that it has launch control and a big wing, or that it can set amazing lap times. But the GT3 RS has always been lacking in the luxury department. Lacking is a bad word for what's going on because luxury is not expected of it. It's like asking a loyal, powerful attack dog to also speak.

Well, the Germans have always been good at making the impossible possible. There's a company called Neidfaktor that can refine any interior, and it has recently been tasked with making twin GT3 RS brothers.

Even though I'm not the biggest Porsche fan in the world, I secretly believe that the GT3 RS could be the greatest car ever made by a German company. Yet the interior refinements done by Neidfaktor still manage to improve it.

Things start off slowly with the exterior. As you may notice from the photo gallery, the "Matching Couple Project“ features both Lava Orange and Acid Green accents. These original Porsche colors were used for the front lips, mirror arms and brake calipers. Yes, we used plural because there are two cars.

Part two of the refinement process was all about carbon fiber, which is used all over the body to suggest higher quality and exoticism. It can be seen on the air outlet covers on the front fenders, side skirts, mirror caps and triangles, rear diffuser as well as the engine cover.

And finally, we arrive at the interior, which is not only outrageous for a GT3, but also for a 911 in general. It's done in a combination of Alcantara and regular black leather with accents in Acid Green that's carried over from the outside.

The dash, door panels, seats, steering wheel, center console, sun visors and all sorts of odds and ends are treated in this manner. Thankfully, the OEM look is entirely preserved. What's our favorite part? The carbon-spoked steering wheel, which is like an Alcantara jewel in the middle of the crown.
