The new 991 generation of the Porsche 911 has conquered the hearts of enthusiasts from across the world, but this doesn't mean that the 997 incarnation of the vehicle is out of the spotlights. This is thanks to the fact that the special versions of the rear-engined coupe are still based on 997, so if you want an extreme 911, you still have to turn to the 997.
However, this really isn't an issue, as these special versions are extremely capable. We've brought you a video that demonstrates this, with the footage showing the most exciting naturally aspirated version of the 911, the GT3 RS 4.0. The clip, which comes to us via Youtube user jorrie2, shows us the car during a Nurburgring session and not only do we get to enjoy a delicious hooning episode, but this is also accompanies by a sound that is nothing short of music to our ears.
