Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 RS Get New Accessories

The Porsche Tequipment range has just received several components for personalizing all Type 997 models in the GT3 and GT3 RS range. The new line is destined for customers who wish to further enhance the exterior of his car with weight-optimized materials such as titanium and carbon, usually used in motorsport. By modifying their Porsche with the new Tequipment accessories, users will not only benefit of technology inspired from the race track and developed by the Porsche Motorsport Division engineers, but the original warranty will remains intact as well. Getting straight to the point, the new accessories range include new double tailpipe made of titanium to reduce the car’s rear weight, a spoiler lip at the rear (Gurney flap) and a ram air scoop on the rear lid. Furthermore, the white-metallic patina of the tailpipe turns blue when exposed to high exhaust temperatures, like on many racing cars. Additionally, the front air outlet above the bumper and the rear-view mirrors are also available in carbon. The air outlet now comes with just one middle bar instead of the usual three reinforcement bars. The titanium-colored second-generation 19-inch GT3 wheels complete the look, having the wheel bolts made out of forged aluminum and finished in red eloxy-plating.
