Just as the 2017 Porsche 911 Facelift is on its way to the Neunelfer-loving public out there, the carmaker has decided to show its love for the North American market with a help of a new (you guessed it) special edition.
The 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition is here to do away with any fears of a downsized, autonomous driving future. And that's because it packs a naturally aspirated engine and a manual.

Despite the boost coming from China, the US remains Porsche's sweet financial spot, so the German carmaker is paying close attention to what its American customers are doing.

Do you think Zuffenhausen isn't aware of the 2015 Rennsport Reunion taking place at Laguna Seca? Of course they are and this is why they've come up with this special edition.

Unlike other Porsche specials, this one is easy to spot, even for an untrained eye and it's all thanks to the bespoke decals that make us want to throw this 911 at a track right now.

The model includes a host of standard featured at making your speeding life easy. Just like the facelifted model, this 911 gets standard PASM adaptive suspension. The list also includes 18-way power sport seats, a Bose audio (not the Burmester range-topper though), carbon fiber dashboard trim and rear parking sensors.

Oh, and let's not forget the 20-inch Sport Classic wheels and the PDLS adaptive headlights of the coupe.

In fact, Porsche wants you to know you're driving something special even before you climb aboard, as the key uses the same Fashion Gray hue as the car, while using a custom engraved leather case.

Even if you have the $149,330 Porsche is charging for the 911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition prepared, grabbing one won't be easy. Porsche is only building 25 units, all of which are destined for the North American market.
