Porsche 911 (997) Carrera 4S Wrap: Graphite Metallic

You know how Porsche design is a game of millimeters? You move the lights closer by 12 mm, add 22 mm of LEDs and you have a completely new car for people to spend their hundreds of thousands on.

That’s because the 911 is the sort of car that has really made history. Thus, the shape has not drastically changed in half a century, and most people instantly recognize one when they see it.

That’s why changing the color of the 911 has to be changed only a bit to make it more modern. Today, we bring you a car wrap project from Russian tuners Re-Styling, who have covered a 997 generation Porsche 911 Carrera 4S in “Graphite Metallic”.

This is a color we normally associate with previous generation BMW 3-Series, but they clearly made it work on a Porsche.

To get the vinyl foil on the car, they had to to completely strip the car, taking off the chrome, the lights and even the reflective bar at the back that’s known as the 3S’ trademark.
