We've recently talked about the upcoming entry-level Porsche sportscar, a project that should receive the 550 Spyder name and arrive in 2014. Now, we've come across this rendering, which show the vehicle in all its potential glory.
The image, which was created by deviantart user Carrara Design, relies on visual elements borrowed from mid-engined Porsches, with the most important one being the 918 Spyder.
Porsche fans will also notice influences from the Carrera GT, which bring a very dynamic tone to the rendering. We also have rear humps inspired from the Speedster, and the engine cover comes with air vents. The vehicle uses a low roof line, which makes the entire story even sportier.
