In 2005, the Polo GTI came out and wasn't all that hot. It only had 150 hp from a 1.8-liter TSI and looked like a girl's car with lipstick on its grille. All that change in 2010 when VW launched the most popular Polo GTI ever, the new Mk5.
It had a smaller engine displacing only 1.4-liters but had 30 more horsepower because it was both turbocharged and supercharged. Because it was larger than before, elegantly simple in design and was available as a five-door, it quickly dominated the B-segment hot hatch market.

Three years on, it's still on the good side of really fast and its city fuel consumption leads the hot pack because of that small engine and the fact that it's equipped with a DSG gearbox.

This Polo GTI got tired of being discrete and decided to swap its factory red paint for a cherry red wrap from Schwaben Folia. It has accents of metallic to it and contrasts the sober black wheels. Custom details also include a matte black VW badge at the back.
