Polizia Stradale Lamborghini Racing at Monza

If you were playing one of those videogames like Grand Theft Auto where you get chased on busy city streets and suddenly the cops all had Lamborghinis that would be a bit of a nightmare, wouldn’t it? The thing is, in Italy they really do have such cars. Well, they only have one left to be more exact.

A YouTube user has managed to film one of these monsters in uniform racing on the Monza track recently. The car is the only one left of the two that were donated to the Italian Poliza Stradale, meant to deter and combat illegal racing on the peninsula’s streets.

Two Gallardo 560-4s were delivered in 2008 as replacements for the aging 2004 models that had been patrolling certain high-risk sections of Italian highway. The cars have also been famously used to transport organs that needed urgent transplanting.

It must have been a very strange day for the other motorist to be racing against a car with 500+ hp and a police flashing lights. It was also raining that day but that did not phase the supercar, as it comes equipped with AWD. Its nice to see such a supercar howling and being thrashed on any circuit, even if it has “Polizia” written on the side.

The other existing car has been totaled in a weird crash that occurred near Cremona last year. Reportedly, the police officer in the 560-horsepower 'Raging Bull' was cruising on the road when a vehicle pulled out all of a sudden from of a petrol station. In order to avoid an accident the officer swerved and crashed into another parked car.
