They say greed is what makes criminals disclose their deeds since once they start making the big cash most of villains simply can't help but to show off. That’s pretty much the story of this 37-year old British police officer, who turned up for work in a Ferrari 458 and raised suspicions which later proved to be real.
Police officer Osman Iqbal was sent to jailed late last year after a anti-corruption investigation proved the man was in fact living a double life. Apart from being a police officer, the man later proved to be in the middle of a drug dealing gang that was not only selling class A illegal narcotics, but was also running a couple of brothels where the gang members would scam their “clients”.

But wait, the story gets even better. Reports are that the investigators are looking into further charges as they have discovered Iqbal was also planning to get information from police computer systems. It would seem the ex police officer was doing a favor for Nahiem Ajmal, a Birmingham religious leader. Fortunately, safeguarding stopped him from succeeding, but he could face several years in prison over the 7 years and a half sentence he’s already in prison for.

But how did everything started? “Their greed was their downfall and when they were seen driving around in their supercars it didn’t take us long to piece together exactly what they were up to and take action. We constantly target networks like this and it doesn’t matter who’s involved, we will seek to use the full weight of the law against them,” chief inspector Martin Brennan, from West Midlands Police’s Serious and Organized Crime Unit explained.
