I know it's against the law to run from the police in a speeding 560 horsepower Audi. But my god, this RS6 chase is a thing of beauty and it solidifies Audi's tank-like reputation.
Why are they running from the police? Because the guys in the Audi had robbed a local pizza takeaway. And before you ask, the RS6 is also stolen.

The video captured by the dash cam of the pursuit vehicle begins with a cringe fest of hearing the car hitting repeating speed bumps at over 60 miles per hour. After a few moments, they spot the runaway RS6 Avant, and one of the officers noticed the car already has one flat tire.

The squad radios in their location and are soon joined by at least one Insignia. But the robbers know what they are doing and decide the best way to get the heat off their backs is to reverse-ram the RS6 into the BMW 3 Series Touring pursuing them in the hope for damaging the radiator.

Eventually, the gang was able to escape the chase. However, two members of the gang were arrested this year for an attack with an angle grinder on a post office and are facing 28 years in prison (combined). We think that's pretty light. Considering they waited for one of the officers to leave the BMW patrol vehicle before ramming, this could be regarded as a murder attempt.

We have to point out that these officers don't seem to be that well prepared for the situation. With at least two cars already following the Audi, one of them could have blocked its front while it was attempting to do the ramming procedure. Also, the lack of training is evident in the failed PIT maneuver. But it's not like the cars were designed for this either, as they don't have push bumpers to cope with the frontal damage which eventually puts the 3 Series out of action.
