Ladies and gentlemen drivers, we’re here to give you a police chase video from the “just when you thought you’d seem them all” category. The pursuit took place over the weekend, with a 29-year-old woman running away from the police and ending up crashing into a train, as well as getting hit by a second train.
It all happened in Woods Cross, Utah, with the police receiving a call about a guest refusing to leave a host’s house. The vehicle of the suspect, a W211 Mercedes E-Class, was described over the phone. An officer saw the car and tried to pull it over, but the driver decided to make a run for it.
After a brief chase, the woman hit a crossing train, ending up on the other railroad track. As the officers were trying to get to her, a second train approached and hit the E-Class. It was at this point that one of the police officers got dangerously close to the oncoming train.
The woman only reportedly had her arm broken in all this train frenzy. Despite the two impacts, the passenger cell of the E-Class seems to be in pretty good shape.
And yes, you’re right, alcohol is on the table, but the authorities haven’t confirmed whether the woman was intoxicated or not.
