Police Busts Guy Trying to Ship a Methanol Injection Kit through UPS

If you’re going to send something via UPS or a similar service, you’d better pay attention what you tell them about the content of your package. One wrong word and police might be banging your door down the next day.

At least that’s what this reddit user experienced when he tried to ship a “meth kit” to someone via the aforementioned courier service. As you can tell, the company got a bit worried about what’s in the box and it wasn’t sent to its destination.

After receiving a call from the guy waiting the package, our hero here decided to call UPS and ask them to track down the thing and see why it didn’t reach the destination.

Having found the sender, UPS then called the cops who went right at the guy’s front door, hoping to discover a methamphetamine lab or something. However, they only found a man concerned about his methanol injection kit not reaching the destination in time.

The problem got solved after all the hassle, with everybody involved understanding that a “meth kit” is slang for a car engine system that injects methanol fuel, duh...

Still, the man is pretty pissed off by the courier firm, saying it’s the most bizarre thing he ever dealt with. Who would have imagined some guy is trying to send a methamphetamine lab using UPS and also notifying them about that?
