As it turns out, the Association of German Vehicle Tuners (VDAT) launches a special concept cat every year under the motto “Only serious and safe tuning will bring the driving fun you want”. This year, it was AC Schnitzer’s contribution that impressed them the most.
The Aachen-based company created a Police car based on the 428i Coupe and is fully usable, being optimized in the most important areas. Apart from the usual boost in HP and torque, the tuning also considered the CO2 emissions per HP and other factors.

In total, the car now has 294 HP and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds, with all the additional equipment installed too.

The suspension was also changed, to allow for the best possible handling when in pursuit alongside the bodywork that now optimizes airflow even better. The exterior of the car was, of course, covered with a film decor from FOLIATEC, whilst Hella provided the special signaling system, RTK 7.
