Audi's current-generation A6 isn't going to last much longer, which means the RS6 Avant could be out the door in less than two years. And as every quattro fan knows, replacements are always slow to arrive.
But the super-wagon has had a fantastic run and could easily be considered the real flagship of the Audi family until the R8 came with its Lambo V10. You just wouldn't expect this kind of performance from a vehicle with a big trunk, but Audi has been careful to change everything when going from the vanilla A6 to wasabi RS model.

If the factory configuration still isn't enough, the German company offers a wide variety of alternative body parts through the Audi Exclusive program. This Polar Blue Metallic model is arguably the best RS6 we've seen so far, as it features a color we've never seen before on... anything.

Also, the owner chose to add Akrapovic exhaust that features amazing carbon fiber trim pieces. Before it was shipped out, the guys at Audi Forum in Neckarsulm got a hold of it and shot some photos. The exhaust looks so clean that it would almost be a shame to start up that V8 engine. Almost!

In the interior department, the RS6 gets comfy seats trimmed in Nappa and Alcantara leather, blue ambient lighting and carbon fiber inserts. Blue stitching can be seen everywhere, including the bottom of the dash and the leather sleeve for the gear shifter. The steering wheel and the top of the shifter are wrapped in Alcantara, which is a bit of overkill.

Audi never says what these custom cars cost, but we at least know that this is an RS6 performance that starts out at €117,000. Add about 5k more for the paint, the same for the wheels plus 10k for interior options, and you get a wagon that costs as much as the basic S500 Coupe. However, we think it's worth that much.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
