Pokemon Hunting On a Supermoto Is the Next Level of Laziness

If people need a stupid reason like collecting digital made-up animals to get out and exercise, it kinda says a lot about our species. But wanting to cheat at this Pokemon game by using a vehicle really makes me want to go and live alone in the mountains. And this time, a motovlogger is even teaching you how to hunt the darn things using a motorcycle.

Out of all types of humans, I really hoped motorcyclists will get over this Pokemon Go thing without making much of a hassle. But no, apparently the “virus” got spread so much that you can find tutorial videos like the one bellow, posted by a famous US motovlogger, encouraging riders to go “catch ‘em all”.

Chaseontwowheels here will take you through an in-depth tutorial on how to find and catch digital animals all day long while comfortably sitting in the saddle of a dual-sport bike. As if there weren’t enough good reasons to pack and ride for 12 hours...

Tips include getting yourself a smartphone handlebar-mount to have it in sight all the time, headphones to hear notifications, water, sunscreen, two extra batteries and even a solar panel to recharge them on the go. This guy is prepping for some serious Pokemon action.

Oh, forgot to mention, if you own a sportbike or a cruiser you’re pretty much doomed because the best type of bike for dealing with such a hunt is a dual-sport. This way you can climb curbs, cut through small alleys and even go up a hill or in the middle of a field to find the creatures that apparently spawn in the most bizarre locations.

At least the guy gives some advice on how to stay safe while going through this charade. Riding a motorcycle requires a lot of concentration and keeping your eyes on the phone is definitely not a good idea. Same goes for suddenly comming to a stop when the phone detects a rare digital duck nearby.

Can’t wait to see ATGATT adventure riders on fully-equipped BMW R1200GS-es with phones mounted on their handlebars, going into their most epic trip... to hunt fluffy virtual pets.
