Yamaha’s Thai arm has recently stood up to the company motto (Revs your heart) by introducing a rather up close and personal campaign for the R-series bikes.

A quarter of Playboy playmates, some of Thailand’s finest girls, were unleashed in full traffic, melting the hearts of Yamaha riders. The models went fully Grid Girl, bringing their umbrellas to accompany their bunny ears and tails. The tender moves were on the house.

We’re not sure how Thai bikers generally ride, but the ladies definitely managed to get those who were targeted in a romantic mood, as we can see in the promotional video below. The clip was accompanied by a series of trailers, so this campaign was as serious as they get.

It’s amazing how four of these Bunnies were able to stop traffic on the spot and grab the attention of a ton of people around.

Nevertheless, we’re not sure about the focus of the target audience. OK, we’ll stop beating around the bush and tell you the clip shows the new R25, Yamaha’s quarter-liter sports bike. As you know, the company is about to introduce the MT-25 naked soon, so the preparations have been well taken care of.

We still didn’t get the picture with the old R1 that shows up in the footage, but we’re willing to bet nobody will watch the clip and complain about that. Especially not the guys involved in the video.
