Imagine this: You’re on a dragstrip and just about to start a race when a a small Beechcraft King Air plane crashes right in front of your eyes. Yes, this is real and it happened in Iceland.
It appears that the entire unfortunate event was caught on video and it shows how the ambulance airplane violently hits the ground and the guys on the track rushing over to the crash. Except for the captain and the co-pilot, there was a third person aboard, a paramedic. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it nor did the captain, the co-pilot being the only one that managed to survive with only some injuries.
What exactly happened there is unknown as the cause of the accident is still being looked it into. Those interested can take a look at the 13 seconds long video from August 2013 that's just been made available, but let us warn you that the images might be disturbing.
