As a celebrity, you expect a fair share of criticism, both regarding your work and your personal life. However, social media is making it way too easy for strangers to criticize everything about celebrities, and Pink is drawing the line at her husband, their kids and their decision to let them ride dirt bikes.
The other day, Carey Hart, who is a professional motorcross racer and, as such, probably knows a thing or two about safety, posted a photo of himself and his son on a dirt bike. Jameson isn’t 2 years old yet, and many of his fans took issue with that. Others, however, were upset that the boy wasn’t wearing full gear, i.e. a mask, even though Hart was.

In other words, Hart fell on the wrong side of the mommy police. He’s used to criticism and didn’t fight back, but his wife, pop star Pink, has a not-so-subtle message for anyone who comes for her family and their hobbies, regardless if they’re on wheels or not: she and Carey are the only ones who get to decide which is which.

“Chocolate is good for babies right? Help me Instagram, we can’t possibly parent without you,” Pink says in a caption of an Instagram photo of Jameson, his face covered with chocolate. While most of her fans appreciated her sarcasm, one woman didn’t: she further accused Hart of being a reckless parent who repeatedly puts his kids in danger and then boasts about it on Instagram, thus glorifying it.

This is when Pink let it rip.

“Answer me this: how often have you watched him parent? Do you know my children? Are you aware of their development? Even better: what are your credentials in parenting expertise? Are you a perfect parent? S–t, are you even a parent? A psychologist? A teacher?” she wrote.

“These are bold statements from a social media spectator. I won’t even unfollow you. It’s not worth the trouble. You sound like a person that could learn something by looking at all of this,” the pop star continued. “God bless your perfect path. I have no interest in that myself. However, do check in from time to time to let us all know what other teachings you may have for us, oh perfect f—ing stranger.”

To underline: if Pink and Carey choose to let either of their children ride dirt bikes, it’s their choice and responsibility. Come for them and you will get a perfect clapback like the one above.
