Sure, nobody can take away the track might of the 991.2 Porsche 911 GT2 RS (it's one of the Nurburgring record holders, remember?) or the aero-aggressive styling of the Rennsport Neunelfer. However, in order to remain social media-worthy, a machine needs to stay uber-fresh these days, so you'll get to see multiple owners modding thei machines to achieve the said effect.
And the 2RS sitting before us is an example as good as any. There are two main ingredients that define the transformation of this Zuffenhausen animal.
The first involves the removal of the rear wing. Taking off the aero element is obviously nothing new and you should know drivers don't just resort to this for the extra attention. That's because the move obviously comes in handy when one attends a drag racing event.
As for the second, this has to do with the pink attire of the slat-six bearer. We're probably dealing with a wrap here, albeit one that does a pretty good job at turning the rear-engined vehicle into a head-turner.
Of course, the second skin of the beast will easily split opinions among aficionados. In fact, it's enough to check out the comment section of the Instagram post below, which brought the car to our attention, to notice that certain gear heads would rather have this 911 pinkless than wingless.
Then again, it's not like Porsche itself is a stranger to this color, since it does form the base for the famous Pink Pig livery - the modern-day comeback of this livery spreads for the livery of the 911 RSR 2018 Le Mans winner to aftermarket jobs such as this 918 Spyder.
