Pink Pagani Zonda C12 Roadster Hits the Auction Block

The forthcoming Bonhams auction taking place at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 1st will feature the sale of a car that could pass as having belonged to Paris Hilton or Katie ‘Jordan’ Price. We are talking about a pink 2004 Pagani Zonda C12 Roadster that comes in a right-hand drive form.

The vehicle in question was sent back to the factory in 2008 for an overhaul and upgrading to 'F' high-performance specification, which was carried out over the course of 3 months.

The work included a complete overhaul of the 7.3-litre engine, which now produces no less than 602bhp at 6,150rpm and 560 lb.ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm. A new 'F'-type exhaust system and an upgraded ECU were also among the mods applied.

In this specification the car is claimed to accelerate from a standstill to 60mph in only 3.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 214 mph. As for the braking capability, the stop from 120 mph is reportedly achievable in a mere 4.4 seconds.

At the same time the car was repainted from yellow to its current 'Elvis Presley Cadillac Pink' livery, while other noteworthy features include a new leather dashboard, carbon fibre engine cover and rear diffuser.

“Elegantly appointed according to client's demand, the Zonda Roadster allows the lucky owner to personalise each detail according to his/her taste, from the careful selection of materials, such as the aluminium and carbon fibre finishes, to the sophisticated and exclusive interior in fine leather entirely processed and hand-sewn by master artisans,” Pagani says.

The pink Zonda has been estimated to fetch between GBP200,000 - GBP250,000, and if remaining in the EU, it will be subject to an import tax of 20%.
