Pininfarina Considering Cambiano Limited Production

Geneva had its horror stories when it came to the concept segment, and we are not going to name the Bentley SUV and Bertone Nuccio because that would be rude and repetitive. But there is nothing ugly or disturbing about the Piningarina Cambiano Concept, which actually looks like a decent GT car proposal.

Reception of the Cambiano PHEV concept has been so good in fact, that the Italian design house is even considering limited production. "We are evaluating the potential for companies and private buyers interested is a high-performance, low-emission luxury model such as the Cambiano," Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori told Autonews Europe during the Swiss show.

If you’re thinking you will be able to trade your Maserati GranTurismo for one of these, you’re very wrong. The CEO says that if only 10 Cambianos will be built, they would cost somewhere in the region of €1 million (US$1.3 million), but if they managed to sell 70 to 75 units, this would fall to €400,000 (US$520,000).
