Millennials have just eased down on jumping out of moving cars for the #KikiChallenge, and a new, considerably more dangerous trend could be starting because of one pilot’s idea of a joke.
Alejandra Manriquez is an experienced pilot who has flown to over 40 countries as pilot of private jets. She may be a bit late to the party, but she found the way to top every other video shooting for your likes and viral status, to the music of Drake’s “In My Feelings” single.

Whereas most people posting online under the hashtags #KikiChallenge, #DoTheShiggy or #InMyFeelings uploaded videos of themselves jumping out of moving cars while dancing to Drake’s music, Alejandra does the choreography next to a running plane.

You can see her new (viral) video at the bottom of the page. She seems to start the plane and then runs down the stairs, where she’s joined by another woman in the now-infamous choreography from the “In My Feelings” music video.

Previous challenge participants did the same routine while trying to keep up with the car they’d jumped from, which continued to roll at about 10mph. Many of them were injured in the stunt, either being hit by other cars or falling and hurting themselves when they tried to get out while the car was still moving.

Alejandra wasn’t hurt, but her video didn’t fail to cause a storm online. While most commenters agree that the plane wasn’t probably even started to begin with and that it was being tugged, they worry that she might set a dangerous precedent. That holds true even if she got permission for her little stunt.

All jokes aside, jumping out of any means of transportation while it’s still moving, and trying to keep up with it is a stupid, dangerous idea. People have been seriously injured while doing this challenge, which simply seems to refuse to die down – and upping the stakes on it, even if only apparently, does nobody any good.
