If you thought Ducatis are great, you were right. But still some Ducatis are even niftier, and the Pierobon X60R is just the proof. With a long tradition in crafting special parts for the Ducati motorcycles, Pierobon have crossed into the high-tech realm of manufacturing aftermarket frames.
The X60R is a natural evolution form the F042, another racing-oriented piece of engineering magic, made in EN AW-7020 aluminium, painted in striking “Rosso Corsa” red and weighing a mere 6.36 kg (14.03 lbs). The frame comes in two versions: one accepting the airbox and the other especially created for the old 990 Supersport.

The swingarm is also a Pierobon original and has nothing to do with the stock Ducati units. Made in the same grade aluminium with a 3.96 kg (8.74 lbs) weight, it links to a 235 DU damper Öhlins cantilever shock and has been painted in "Burn Out" black, like the rear subframe. A fully-adjustable inverted RT Racing fork has been decided upon, with lighweight wheels, 305mm rotors and Pirelli Diablo Superbike PRO tires.

The Pierobon X60R is powered by the new Ducati EVO1100 100 hp engine ending with a Termignoni-tuned exhaust. A narrower bodywork has been installed and a lightweight 16 L (4.2 gal) aluminium tank replaced the stock one. There are a ton of custom aluminium parts on the Pierobon X60R, and they can all be ordered individually or as complete kits. Such an amazing piece of machinery!
