At this point, we are so over Pokemon Go that we wanted to make the Passat the focal point of this story. I mean, after Dieselgate, shouldn't being seen in any Volkswagen get you in trouble with the opposite sex?
So anyway, there's a Youtube channel called RichKidsTV, and it's mostly about pranks. Because girls getting into expensive cars gets you lots of views and Pokemon was trending, the guy behind it all filmed a video using his Corvette a couple of weeks ago.

People commented saying that the girls like the car, not the game, gave him an excuse to film a sequel. Considering the clip has over half a million views and earned him at list a grand, the 'kid' probably didn't mind.

But a 2016 Volkswagen Passat is hardly the "regular car" that he describes. If anything, it says that you are clean, like understated design and can afford a $30,000 sedan. Don't forget, statistics say a brand new car is out of the reach of most young people.

The point being made is that the Passat won't get you any girls even if you just "want to catch them all." Of course, we think it's as fake as Pamela Anderson's...

Anyway, I don't know if you've heard about this, but there's a Youtube scandal that's almost as big as Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West. A guy by the name of FouseyTube (real name Yousef Erakan) said his and all the other "pranks" and "social experiments" on YT are/were fake. We knew that, you knew that, but many people didn't and the other guys who are just trying to make a living hate him now.

In a way, they deserve it. After all, you should put truths such as "all girls are gold diggers" out there based on the material you faked. Maybe somebody will act out in a violent way because of your fabricated version of reality.

We also can't ignore that people, young ones, are making a fortune using fake videos. Even though Fousey admitted he's a faker, he still makes over a million views per video just because people have started liking his vlogs. I wonder what it would be like if Harry Houdini quit magic, died his hair and began a social media career. Because the internet stores everything, 100 years later people would say: "remember that one guy, Houdini, who was awesome but switched to vlogs?"
