Phoenix Gold i-Series Amplifier to Shine at CES

Aside for the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) which will open its doors in January for all car lovers, another major event will be taking place in the first weekend of next year, in Las Vegas.

As a type of warm up for the automotive event, the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will preview a wide range of gadgets and technologies which are poised to become must-have items in the near future.

Among them, the Phoenix Gold i-Series amplifier, a solution which Phoenix Gold promises is a world's first. Fitted onto a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro together with a subwoofer kit, the amplifier is to be presented in Las Vegas.

The main attribute of the amplifier is that you will not have to cut the car to pieces in order to connect all the proper wiring. The new unit can be installed by plugging the i-Series amplifier into the OEM wiring harness and connecting the main power and ground wires.

While maintaining steering wheel controls, radio functionality, Bluetooth, OnStar and navigation functions, the amplifier spits out 800 watts of power in a dedicated subwoofer output linked to a 10-inch Phoenix Gold subwoofer.

"Over the last several years, the level of sophistication of OEM audio, communications and electronics systems has advanced exponentially. However, real innovations in the field of aftermarket car audio amplifiers and subwoofers are few and far between,” the manufacturer of the amplifier says.

“The new Phoenix Gold i-Series amplifier shatters this trend by allowing for a seamless installation into today's most complex vehicles while also offering outstanding performance and power.”
