Peugeot UK Taking Orders for Limited Edition RCZ Asphalt

The British division of Peugeot announced today it has finally began taking orders for the limited a limited edition RCZ ‘Asphalt’, which is mostly characterized by its special matt Telluric grey bodywork. Unfortunately, the company revealed that only 75 right-hand-drive Asphalt LE units are being produced for the UK, each priced at £29,995.

This limited edition RCZ Asphalt will feature a bespoke high level specification over the top-of-the-range GT trim and will be powered by a 1.6-liter THP petrol engine.

The unit in question develops a total of 200 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque, with an overboost system bringing an extra 20 Nm. It can push the car from 0 to sixty in 7.6 seconds.

Other special features for this variant include the exclusive Matt exterior Telluric grey paintwork with black roof, ‘Asphalt’ badging, 19” Solstice black alloy wheels, complemented with matching black brake callipers. The interior is equally striking with bespoke ‘Asphalt’ branded and stitched Nappa leather trim, an Alcantara / leather steering wheel and gear stick, with bespoke ‘Asphalt’ sill covers and floor mats.

Additional standard specification includes front and rear parking aid, auto lighting (with approach and follow me home modes), Peugeot Connect Media Navigation and a top-of-the-range JBL sound system.

Back in late 2010, Peugeot introduced a special RCZ Asphalt which was finished in Noir Telluric matte black exterior paint and was to be produced in just 500 units worldwide. The Asphalt followed the RCZ Limited Edition that was launched in September 2009.
