You could say the French are only following the trend for downsizing by making a 1.6-liter hot hatch. But once you learn they got 270 PS from the same engine you get in a MINI, you realize they didn't play by the rules!

So, do you guys want to see what it looks like to go up the famous Goodwood hill in a 270 horsepower Peugeot RCZ R? Of course you do, which is exactly what you're going to see in the video below. The clip is shot in the point of view style and suggest the car is exciting but very controlled.

What matters most in a coupe are price and looks, but this car has power to boot. So arguably, this could be considered a slightly better car than the Audi TT.
