Despite the lack-luster market performance in the face of the VW Scirocco, Peugeot never gave up on making the RCZ coupe better. The French carmaker will be showing the facelifted design that will be go on sale in the first quarter of 2013. It’s an impressive new look, but not as impressive as what coming next for the styling double-bubble coupe.
A concept called the RCZ R will also be shown at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, previewing a production car that will also go on sale next year. The car will be powered by a front mounted 1.6 THP turbo four-cylinder engine, pushing out no less than 260 hp (191 kW), making this the most powerful Peugeot ever made.

To keep all those horse in check, a Torsen limited slip differential will be used. The most likely gearbox on offer will be the usual six-speed manual.

autoevolution will be attending the Paris Motor Show 2012, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
