Peugeot RCZ Facebook Competition Looks for the Chosen One

If you’re not having two pennies to rub together, but think you have a creative mind, than this might be your chance of winning one Peugeot RCZ sports coupe. To coincide with the UK launch of the new RCZ this month, the ‘It Chooses You Campaign’ launches on Facebook today.

The competition on the popular social media network will have participants running ads that look like classified car ads but actually feature ‘real’ people advertising themselves to the RCZ. The luckiest of the entrants may even find themselves picked to feature in an online advertising campaign for Peugeot UK.

Alongside the RCZ Facebook page, a micro-site has been created where entrants can start creating their advertisement with the help of Facebook Connect.  Furthermore, entrants will get an extra chance to win if they invite friends to participate as they enter the prize draw at www.itchoosesyou.co.uk. The live draw is scheduled for June 11.

“The RCZ Sports Coupé goes on sale from 21st May.  The exciting RCZ Facebook competition will engage the audience, keeping them interested and excited using street-casted online ads, viral videos, e-mails and then using online ads featuring real entrants amongst all entries to win the stunning RCZ,” Andy Goodall, Internet Marketing Manager at Peugeot UK said in a release.

In the UK, the car is offered in two trim levels, with pricing to start at £19,900 for the entry level model and going up to £24,000 for the 2.0 liter HDi 163 Manual top of the range version.
