OK, now we’re confused. We thought that people in the Middle East are huge fans of the Ferrari 599 GTO. And if we were to name a more day to day coupe that they buy, it would have to be the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
But it seems the Peugeot RCZ’s double bubble roof has made an impression, as it’s been named the Middle East “Coupe of the Year” at a ceremony held at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai.

The jury for Middle East Car of the Year is composed of specialist motoring journalists from the media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, the Kingdom of Jordan, the Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, the U.A.E. (United Arab Emirates) and Yemen.

The RCZ has only been on sale in the region for 8 months now, and apparently it’s doing quite well, even though it’s got that grinning grille.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
