The new partnership means that all Police, including the Metropolitan Police Service, Fire and Ambulance Authorities will be able to purchase custom vehicles based on Peugeot’s range of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
The vehicles will be bespoke models that cater for the special needs of the emergency services. These will be customized by Peugeot’s Specialist Vehicles Operation (PSVO), which is based at the company’s UK headquarters in Coventry.
Peugeot has a vast experience in the field of creating bespoke conversions that suit special needs and also offers dedicated aftersales services for these types of vehicles. This complete package was an important factor in the authorities’ decision to award the contract to the company.
