The Peugeot 508 really deserves a medal. Taking into account all the problems this company has been through, it's a remarkably good machine, a solid alternative to other D-segment sedans. It offers a little bit of everything, both at an entry level car and as a top-level replacement for the 607. It's also the first car in the range to feature this new design language, with smaller grille and headlights.
A facelift is widely expected to arrive in 2014, four years after the original. We don't know what it will look like, because prototypes have yet to be seen, but changes should be small.
This rendering by Rm.Design shows what they could be planning: better headlights, new wheel designs and a sharp grille.
As for tech, we look no further than the brand new 308 compact hatch to see what they might offer. Things like internet connectivity, parking sensors and active safety will be improved.
