The car looks quite elegant, taking styling cues from the 208 and the 508 (both good-looking cars) and merging them with the sedan shape seamlessly. It actually looks quite good, one of their best efforts in recent years.

At 4.44m (182inches) long, it’s exactly the same size as a Fiat Linea, one of its future rivals in the world’s emerging markets. The car is presented with a rather limited engine range, consisting of just three units: a 3-cylinder 1.2-liter unit with 70hp, PSA’s tried and tested 1.6-liter HDi diesel, in its lowest power output of 90hp, and finally, the range topper, the 1.6-liter VTi engine with 115hp.

The new car will be manufactured in Spain, at PSA’s Vigo plant, and it will get its live unveiling at the Paris Motor Show, this September. Two months later, on November 1st, the car will go on sale in Turkey, and then in the Eastern European countries, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, The Middle East, Gulf and African States, as well as in certain Latin American markets.
