Peugeot previewed the 208 XY at the Geneva Motor Show with a thinly disguised concept car. Now, they’re going to put it into production, and the version you can actually buy will bow in Paris in a couple of days.
To make sure we’re paying attention, they released an interesting promo film. The XY is packed with lots of upmarket features, like a premium interior, and this is supposedly going to appeal to both male and female buyers and drivers, hence the chromosome-related name.
The 208 is all about the style, offering a Purple Night metallic paintjob, chromed grille, mirror caps, window trim, fog lamp surrounds, and rear apron protector, along with the 17-inch diamond-Anthra Mercure wheels designed for this car.
