A nifty new supermini has secured the backbone of Peugeot as a company, receiving huge orders from across Europe. We are, of curse, talking about the Peugeot 208 supermini, a car we think looks quite good.
We've noticed a distinct lack of tuning programs for the 208, which is in contrast with the Ford Fiesta and VW Polo. That's why we made it our business to find every customization option we can to make your small Peugeot that extra bit more desirable.

Today, we focus our attention on a very awesome project from a well establish named in the custom car business, Musketier Tuning from Germany. They took one of the most powerful versions of the car, the 1.6 THP and made it that much better. The award-winning 1.6-liter turbo engine gets its output increased from 156 PS (155 hp) to 210 PS (209 hp), and Musketier also increases the torque to 345 Nm. That's more hp than the 208 GTi and almost as much torque as a Golf GTI, which has a bigger 2.0-liter engine.

Part of the power comes from the ECU mod, but there's also an awesome new quad-pipe exhaust system, each with an oval 90x65-mm pipe.

Cosmetically, this car gets black and carbon decals with red accents, mirrored by 18-inch alloy wheels with red stripes. Musketier also equipped the French car with a kit that lowers it by 30mm.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
